Panasonic SC-HTB520 Home Cinema Soundbar
A popular option to further improve on the sound quality from the new range of Panasonic Veira televisions, without the issues of hiding multiple cables or siting speakers around the room is the latest Panasonic SC-HTB520 soundbar. This system has an attractive slimline central unit which can either be mounted to your wall below your television or be placed onto the lower shelf of your TV stand, and a wireless subwoofer bass unit which can be positioned anywhere in your room near to a mains socket. The Down Firing Subwoofer achieves powerful bass by releasing the sound downward from the speaker unit and port, and utilizing the sound reflected from the floor.
When the Panasonic SC-HTB520 soundbar is connected to one of the latest range of Panasonic Veira televisions the included Veira-Link system allows very simple use with just the one television remote control needed.
By expanding the sound field in the upper front area of the TV screen, the Clear-mode Dialog function on the Panasonic SC-HTB520 soundbar gives the sound greater depth. It also makes voices sound like they’re coming from the center of the screen. This links the picture and the sound more precisely, so movie dialog and music vocals are clearer.
The Panasonic SC-HTB520 soundbar is compatible with the ARC (Audio Return Channel) feature. ARC makes it possible to receive audio signals from the TV, on top of the preexisting HDMI function of sending audio/video signals to the TV with just one cable. This feature simplifies connection by eliminating the audio cable connection between the TV audio output and the main unit’s audio input. *ARC compatible TV is required.
