Arcam irDock iPod Dock
The Arcam irDock allows anybody with a hi-fi system, irrespective of the manufacturer, to enjoy iPod music with superlative quality. As the name implies the new Arcam irDock allows full Infra Red remote control of all iPods and iPhone (including the latest generations).
The Arcam irDock also allows video pass through of any movie or TV show stored thanks to the incorporation of an authentication chip from Apple.
The Arcam irDock uses audiophile grade components and design techniques to deliver the best possible sound quality and is built from a high quality cast aluminum enclosure for optimum RF shielding.
The Arcam irDock comes with a special charging on/off button, which enables you to play the iPod from its internal battery supply.Using this intelligent feature will double the life of the rechargeable iPod battery and brings a modest but useful improvement in sound quality.
The Arcam irDock’s low noise power supply comes with three plug attachments and universal voltage capability so you can enjoy your iPod music anywhere in the world.
The Arcam irDock is supplied with an RS232 connection lead so that the track information can be displayed with Arcam Solo products as well as the latest generation AVR600 receiver, the AV888 pre-amp processor and the Arcam T32 Tuner.
