Cyrus CD 8 SE2 CD Player

The Cyrus CD 8 SE2 CD player is the top end single box CD player based on the revolutionary Cyrus SE (Servo Evolution) optical data control technology that greatly improves the integrity of the data read from the CD.

The Cyrus CD 8 SE2 CD player incorporates the same low-contact precision slot loading CD drive as the Cyrus CDXtSE transport.

Internally the power supply design features twin, custom made, transformers each feeding individual highly regulated power supplies which in turn feed the 11 separate sections of the player. The specially developed DAC circuitry provides outstanding performance, and an almost holographic 3D image, which has resulted in the Cyrus CD8SE CD player being the current What Hi Fi award winner in its class.

The Cyrus CD 8SE2 CD player has outstanding performance that can be expanded further by adding a Cyrus PSX-R power supply, giving the CD8SE2 even more resolution, helping to reveal subtle details within a recording. The Cyrus CD 8 SE2 CD player can also be factory upgraded to a CDXtSE.
