Spendor A3 Speakers
A wonderful new addition to the successful 'A' series, the Spendor A3 speakers have a lower price point that allows access to a superb sounding Spendor floorstanding loudspeaker at a hitherto unheard of price.
A 2 way design which uses the same tweeter and bass midrange drive unit as the A5, the Spendor A3 speakers are slightly smaller loudspeakers but at the same time capable of creating a huge soundstage and deep powerful bass.
Utilising a 150mm ep38 bass midrange driver and a 22mm wide surround tweeter, the Spendor A3 speakers have a cabinet that is damped using Spendor Dynamic Damping polymer which transforms unwanted cabinet resonances into heat, which delivers a much more natural and uncoloured sound quality.
Fourth generation linear flow port technology endows the Spendor A3 speakers with tight, extended bass and makes placement close to walls much easier than with more conventional designs. A braced and stiffened cabinet together with steel disc stabiliser in the plinth yields a very inert cabinet, which contributes to the startlingly natural and realistic sound presentation of Spendor A3.
The Spendor A3 speakers are available in Light Oak, Cherry, Black Ash or Dark Walnut real wood veneer finishes.
