Cyrus DAC X+
The Cyrus DAC X+ is a very high performance digital to analogue converter. If the Cyrus DAC X+ is partnered with a CD Xt SE, it provides Cyrus' ultimate CD player.
The Cyrus DAC X+ is all about accuracy. First a highly accurate reference clock is used to lock together a special Sample Rate Converter and the Digital to Analogue Converter for maximum digital accuracy. After re-clocking the input signal is up sampled to 192kHz before being fed to twin stereo DACs designed in dual mono configuration for balanced operation. The other operational elements of the system are optically isolated from the twin mono DACs improving clarity.
The Cyrus DAC X has customisable inputs, with each input capable of being re-named from a wide list of options allowing fit any system. The input names are displayed on a clear soft green backlit LCD display matching all other Cyrus components.
The Cyrus DAC X will slave “on”, through the Master Control BUS with any Cyrus CD player.
The overall result is an easy to use, compact, exceptionally high quality DAC, which is able to elevate the performance of many different sources, to top audiophile levels.
