Fanthorpes HiFi - The Week Ahead 14th - 19th January 2019

Hey everyone, this is our first ‘Week Ahead’ blog post of 2019. We’ve got a jam packed week ahead of us with some whopping installs in Wales and Surrey, plus a number of interesting demonstrations to look forward to…

The idea is to give you an insight into our working week here at Fanthorpes HiFi. With what demonstrations we are doing in store and in customers’ homes, services we offer, as well as give you an insight into the distances we travel over a working week.

Monday 14^th January

We start the week off with a fantastic in-store demonstration. The customer is looking for a pair of new floorstanding speakers and is undecided between the Martin Logan Electromotion ESL X and PMC Twenty5 26, we will have both these speakers set up alongside the Luxman L-590AX II Amp, Luxman D-06u SACD Player and Innuos Zenith MKII streamer.

Plus, in the afternoon we’ve got the chaps from Padood popping in to pay us a visit, We’ll make sure the we have a mug of the finest Yorkshire tea ready! It’s always great to see members of the industry pop in, it allows us to turn our focus to a particular brand serving as a nice refresher course and to possibly learn about any new products on the horizon.

Tuesday 15^th January

We have an early start on Tuesday as we head off to south Wales to install a pair of Bryston 28B3 Mono Power Amplifiers. This customer is upgrading from a pair of 7B3 monos, that we are taking in part exchange, as well as a Bryston BDA-3 DAC. He will be running the 28B3 on a pair of KEF Blade 2 speakers. This is an upgrade we can’t wait to install!

Wednesday 16^th January

After the miles racked up on Tuesday we are staying over in a local Hotel, but before we set off back to Hull we have one more install on the cards. Wednesday sees us head to Llanelli to install a pair of PMC Twenty5 23 speakers, this customer is upgrading from Monitor Audio Gold 300 speakers, this is an upgrade we are sure he will love.

Thursday 17^th January

A free date in out calendar for now! If this fills up at a later date, we’ll update the post and let you know. Alternatively, if you want to take advantage of the services we offer on Thursday 17th drop us an email or give us a call and we’ll try our best to make it happen.

Friday 18^th January

We hit the road again on Friday down to Lingfield in Surrey, to install a pair of PMC Fact 8 speakers. This customer is upgrading from the PMC Twenty 26 that we are taking in part exchange.

Saturday 19^th January

We have an in-store demonstration booked in to end the week. The customer is looking for a new pair of speakers and has taken a particular interest in the PMC Twenty5 23. We will have the PMC speakers set up alongside the Roksan Caspian M2 amplifier, Chord Hugo TT DAC and Innuos Zenith MKII streamer.
