Fanthorpes HiFi - The Week Ahead 1st October - 6th October

Another week another update, we’ve got a fair few miles to rack up next week with trips to the north east and north west of England on the cards. We’ve got a great high end demo of some Chord mono power amps and an absolutely ginormous home cinema surround install.

The idea is to give you an insight into our working week here at Fanthorpes HiFi. With what demonstrations we are doing in store and in customers’ homes, services we offer, as well as give you an insight into the distances we travel over a working week.

Monday 1^st October

We hit the road to start the week, heading over to Warrington in the North West to hand deliver a pair of PMC Twenty5 23 Speakers.

Tuesday 2^nd October

Wednesday 3^rd October

We have a mid-week trip to the North East to visit a regular customer of ours. He already owns an impressive system which consists of Martin Logan ESL 13A Electrostatic speakers and Chord DAVE DAC. He is considering making the switch from his existing Chord SPM1050MkII power amp to the SPM 1400 MK II Mono Power Amplifiers from Chord Electronics. After listening to the power amps in our demo room a few weeks ago, he requested a home audition which we are more than happy to do.

Saturday 6^th October

We have an absolute whopper of a home cinema install to end the week. We are heading to Cheshire to set up a full Monitor Audio Platinum surround sound system that comprises of PL300 II Floorstanders, PL100 II Standmounts with matching stands, PLC350 II centre channel and matching stand and the PLW215 Subwoofer. These speakers will be hooked up to the Pioneer SCLX901 Receiver.
