The Aurender AP20 supports a variety of audio formats, including PCM up to 32-bit/768 kHz and DSD up to DSD512. Connectivity options abound, with digital inputs including 1x Coax RCA, 1x Coax BNC, and 2x Optical/Toslink, as well as analog outputs through XLR (Balanced). The headphone section features a 1/4-inch (6.5mm) unbalanced jack, while MQA full-decoding capability is also on board.

The heart of the Aurender AP20 lies in its amplifier specifications. Utilizing 2x Purifi 1ET400A Class D Amplifier Modules in a dual-mono configuration, it delivers a rated power output of 200W into 8 ohms and 350W into 4 ohms. The Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) remains impressively low at 0.003% across the entire power range. The damping factor of 800 (ref. 8Ω, 20 Hz to 6.5 kHz) ensures tight control over the speakers, while the output impedance stays below 65μΩ at 1kHz. The power configuration includes full linear and dual-mono setups with two 400VA Audio Grade Toroidy toroidal transformers. Binding posts are of the highest quality, featuring WBT nextgen™ pole terminals with signal conductors made of pure copper, completing the audio circuit with utmost integrity.
