The Avid EVO Four loudspeaker makes an unforgettable first impression, delivering an impressive musical scale that belies its compact size. Drawing on technology developed for Avid’s Reference series, the EVO Four produces powerful, articulate bass and exceptional clarity, ensuring a deeply immersive listening experience. Its signature features include Tuned Mass Technology™ (TMT™), a silk soft dome tweeter, and a reflex-loaded bass driver, all working in harmony to provide a rich, dynamic soundstage.

Avid’s elegant design approach combines aesthetics and performance. The handcrafted, angled cabinet minimizes internal standing waves, while strategically placed bracing enhances rigidity and reduces resonance. Precision machining of the 20mm thick aluminum front baffle ensures minimal sound interference, and the rear aluminum baffle reinforces overall cabinet stiffness. Reflex loading optimizes low-frequency output with a downward-firing port, diffusing sound evenly and making the EVO Four remarkably adaptable to small and medium-sized rooms.

Technologically, Avid’s Tuned Mass Technology™ is key to achieving pure sound reproduction. By channeling unwanted vibrations through a dedicated damping element, Avid eliminates resonance at its source. This results in a cleaner, more focused sound with vocals and instruments placed vividly within a transparent soundstage. Both the 4” silk dome tweeter, utilizing Acuflex™ technology, and the 6” bass driver benefit from external voice coil technology (EVC™), improving heat dissipation and reducing distortion for flawless performance.

Avid’s crossover design further enhances the EVO Four’s sonic excellence. Employing ClarityCap™ capacitors with CopperConnect™ technology and air-core inductors, the crossovers are meticulously engineered to minimize signal loss and distortion. Each component is carefully selected through computer simulations and rigorous listening tests to achieve optimal audio performance. The result is a loudspeaker that delivers unparalleled clarity, natural tonality, and musical precision, ensuring an extraordinary listening experience.
