ARCAM of Cambridge Unveils the ARCAM Radia Series with a Fresh Rebrand

The newly launched ARCAM Radia Series introduces three integrated amplifiers, a CD player, and a high-res music streamer into their lineup. This innovative collection pays homage to ARCAM's rich British audio heritage while incorporating contemporary design elements and affordability to cater to a younger demographic and HiFi enthusiasts alike.

Introducing the ARCAM Radia Series

The initial offering includes Class AB and G integrated amplifiers, accompanied by a matching streamer and CD player, marking a significant rebranding effort for ARCAM. The Radia Series represents the first family of ARCAM products designed under their revitalized industrial design, which will shape their future product releases.

Impressive Industrial Design

The ARCAM Radia family of products showcases a tasteful symmetrical design that harmonizes with their aluminum enclosures. They feature seamless front panels, redesigned knobs, and subtle lighting effects. The products sport a smooth matte black finish accented with distinctive Radia yellow highlights. The top surfaces are adorned with concealed ventilation cut-outs arranged in dynamic patterns, ensuring a clean and polished appearance. At the rear, a connector cowl, reminiscent of rear diffusers found in high-performance cars, conceals unsightly connector housings from view. To enhance user interaction, the redesigned knobs are gracefully curved, finished in satin black, and textured to prevent fingerprint smudges.

ARCAM Radia Amplifiers

The new Radia amplifiers from ARCAM are equipped with Bluetooth aptX Adaptive receivers, internal antennas, digital inputs, and ARCAM's renowned MM phono stage. The lineup includes the 2x50W A5 and 2x100W A15 Class AB amplifiers, featuring advanced digital circuitry based on the ESS ES9018 DAC. The 2x100W A25 model steps up to a Class G amplifier and incorporates the ESS ES9280AQ DAC, along with USB-C inputs, LED illuminated accents, and a seamless OLED display on the front panel.

ARCAM Radia ST5 Streamer

The ST5 music streamer boasts an internal Wi-Fi antenna and supports a wide array of music services, including Amazon Music Unlimited, Qobuz, Internet radio, podcasts, Tidal Connect, and Spotify Connect. Additionally, the streamer offers compatibility with MQA, Google Chromecast, Apple Airplay2, and Roon.

ARCAM Radia CD5 CD Player

The CD5 CD player is designed to play CD, CD-R, and CD-RW discs, as well as content from USB mass storage. It supports popular formats such as FLAC, WAV, and MP3. Both the ST5 and CD5 are equipped with an ESS ES9018 DAC and deliver impressive 24-bit/192-kHz resolution.
