Arcam’s celebrated Radia Series is back, and this time, it’s better than ever. The company raised the stakes with the release of three powerful new integrated amplifiers: the A5+, A15+, and A25+. With upgraded circuitry, cutting-edge Bluetooth technology, and improved power management, the Radia+ series promises even more exceptional sound quality and a superior user experience.
Arcam’s Radia series made waves when it debuted in 2023, setting a new benchmark for high-fidelity audio and stylish design. Now, Arcam has enhanced its already impressive amplifiers by incorporating advanced technology and engineering precision into three new models: the A5+, A15+, and A25+.
These new Radia+ amplifiers bring a host of upgrades, making them ideal for audiophiles and casual listeners alike. Arcam's engineers have fine-tuned the internal circuitry, refined the components, and integrated intelligent power management systems to improve both performance and durability.
Next-Gen Bluetooth: The A5+, A15+, and A25+ amplifiers all come with Arcam’s latest Bluetooth 5.4 platform, which supports Snapdragon Sound (AptX Lossless) for CD-quality streaming. This makes wireless audio playback more reliable and efficient than ever before.
Expanded Connectivity: The A15+ and A25+ amplifiers are now equipped with HDMI eARC, a major upgrade over their predecessors, making them perfect for home theater systems. The A25+ also incorporates a precision-cut glass front panel that enhances both the aesthetic and the display clarity.
Superior Power and Noise Management: Each amplifier has been engineered with noise reduction at the forefront. By selectively powering down unused components, Arcam has lowered the overall noise floor, ensuring cleaner power supply and minimal interference.
New Transformer Design: The A25+ stands out with a completely redesigned transformer that improves digital and DAC circuitry, further enhancing audio clarity and overall sound fidelity.
Arcam Radia A5+ (£749) Ideal for those entering the world of high-quality audio, the A5+ delivers 2x50W of Class AB power. It includes a wide range of inputs, such as digital and analogue, along with a tuned MM phono stage. The amplifier also comes with upgraded Bluetooth 5.4, support for Snapdragon Sound, and an improved power supply for reduced noise.
Arcam Radia A15+ (£1,199) Designed for larger spaces and more demanding speakers, the A15+ offers 2x80W of Class AB amplification. In addition to the wireless upgrades seen in the A5+, this model also includes HDMI eARC for seamless TV integration.
Arcam Radia A25+ (£1,699) The flagship model, the A25+, boasts 2x100W of Class G power, an ESS9018 DAC for SPDIF inputs, and a USB-C input. It also includes HDMI eARC and a stunning OLED display, all housed behind a glass panel that complements Arcam's ST25 streaming partner.
Arcam’s A5+, A15+, and A25+ amplifiers are designed to meet the needs of modern music lovers. Whether you’re enjoying a vinyl collection, streaming from your phone, or watching movies, these amplifiers offer seamless integration and exceptional sound quality. With their advanced features, the Radia+ amplifiers are built to deliver superior audio experiences for years to come.
“We’ve taken everything people love about the Radia amplifiers and pushed performance to the next level,” says Scott Campbell, Director of Sales and Marketing at Arcam. “Every upgrade enhances the user experience, and these amplifiers are built for the way people enjoy music today—and for many years to come.”
Founded in Cambridge almost 50 years ago, Arcam has continuously pushed the boundaries of audio engineering. The A5+, A15+, and A25+ amplifiers are a testament to the company’s commitment to excellence. With refined sound, expanded features, and a future-proof design, the Radia+ series is set to deliver an exceptional audio experience that stands the test of time.

Ortofon’s MC X Series represents a new wave in high-fidelity vinyl playback. Building on the solid foundation of the Quintet range, this series introduces a more refined, high-performance line of moving coil (MC) cartridges—all designed and assembled in Denmark.
While the models share core design elements—such as a honeycomb stainless-steel body, silver-plated pure copper coils, and a refined magnet system—the key differences lie in stylus shape, cantilever material, and sonic character. These factors have a profound effect on how the cartridge interacts with the grooves and conveys the music.
Let’s break down the differences between the MC X10, X20, X30, and X40 to help you choose the model that suits your setup and listening preferences.
