The Story Behind Audio Group Denmark

The journey began in the late 1980s when Lars Kristensen and Michael Børresen first crossed paths. Lars, son of one of Denmark’s pioneering high-end audio dealers, had already devoted much of his life to HiFi, while Michael, an engineer with a deep love of music, was fascinated by reimagining and improving audio components.

Their shared passion for innovation led to the founding of several world-renowned audio companies, including Raidho, Ansuz Acoustics, Aavik Acoustics, and Børresen Acoustics. By the end of 2020, they consolidated their vision under one umbrella – Audio Group Denmark – bringing together decades of expertise, groundbreaking technology, and an uncompromising pursuit of musical authenticity.

In 2021, the company welcomed Flemming E. Rasmussen, founder of Gryphon, to their design and development team, further strengthening their position as leaders in high-end audio innovation.
