Since the release of the legendary QUAD 33/303 pre/power combination in 1967, QUAD has continually refined the art of amplifier design. The Platina Series carries this heritage forward, combining cutting-edge digital technology with the timeless “QUAD DNA” that audiophiles around the world revere.

Every circuit of the Platina Integrated has been completely re-engineered – the result of an exhaustive five-year research and development programme to perfect every sonic detail.

The QUAD Platina Integrated is built around a dual-mono Class AB amplifier capable of delivering 200W per channel into 8 ohms and 300W into 4 ohms, with a maximum output current of 20A.
This immense power ensures it can effortlessly drive even the most demanding loudspeakers – including QUAD’s own ESL X electrostatic models – with breathtaking dynamics and authority.

A custom-engineered 630VA toroidal transformer and bespoke components, including capacitors developed with Wurth Elektronik, ensure ultra-low noise and outstanding musical integrity from the quietest passage to the most thunderous crescendo.
