On certain products, we here at Fanthorpes HiFi feel we can offer you more.
We can offer you a personalised delivery service. We bring the HiFi to your home and install it for you. If you have a trade in, we can collect this from you. If you no longer have the boxes, we can wrap it for you. If you want to finance the balance, we can defer your payments over a year.
How does this work in practice?
We have happy customers all over the UK. One of our best customers live on the Isle of Wight. This is a 7-hour one-way journey plus a ferry crossing, and a night in a local hotel. We have visited our customer 3 times so far. On each visit we have boxed and collected his trade in equipment, and then installed his new HiFi.
We feel that we have developed a local dealer relationship with a great guy who just so happens to live at the other end of our island.
Why did he start shopping with us the first place?
People buy from people. Our customer was amazed at the levels of service that we could offer, despite the distances involved. We let him demonstrate, hard to come by, high end Hifi in his own home. After that our relationship developed into what it is today.
We offer this service all day, every day to our customers where we can. Obviously, this can’t happen for every product we sell. Our customers though are often surprised as to the lengths we will go to make their experience run smoothly.
Where do we visit?
There are very few places in the UK that we haven’t visited. Cornwall, Wales, Kent, the Highlands of Scotland and even Northern Ireland are memorable locations. The pins on the office map and the souvenirs we bring back tell their own story. If we can make it work between us, we will visit you anywhere.
Why do we do it?
Well, we get a buzz out of it. We want to make improving your HiFi system as enjoyable an experience as possible, and the longer we do this, the more we have started to realise that not all dealers have the same philosophy.
People buy from people and we go out of our way to make the experience what it should be exciting and fun.
