The KEF R8 Meta Dolby Atmos Speakers are meticulously designed as two-way closed-box units. The drive units feature a Uni-Q Driver Array comprising a 25 mm (1 in.) vented aluminum dome with MAT for the high frequencies and a 130 mm (5.25 in.) aluminum cone for the mid/low frequencies. With a crossover frequency of 2.6 kHz, these speakers offer a well-balanced and precise audio output.

In terms of frequency response, the KEF R8 Meta covers a range of 88 Hz to 19.5 kHz (-6dB) and exhibits typical in-room bass response.
