The Michell Gyro SE is a refined, compact iteration of the iconic Gyrodec turntable, designed to deliver near-identical performance in a smaller footprint. It combines cutting-edge engineering, premium materials, and precision design to provide a truly neutral and reference-quality audio experience.

Space-Saving Design with an Acrylic Spyder

Unlike the full acrylic plinth found on the Gyrodec, the Gyro SE features an acrylic spyder. This rigid and inert base supports the chassis while reducing size and maintaining excellent vibration isolation. It’s the perfect choice for audiophiles seeking high performance without occupying excessive space.

Superior Suspension for Enhanced Sound Quality

The three-point spring suspension system is a hallmark of the Gyro SE. Three suspension towers fixed to the acrylic base secure the springs, allowing precise height adjustment for the sub-chassis. Impedance-Matched Platter with Brass Weights

Innovative Inverted Oil Circulating Bearing

Utilizing a modified Archimedean screw within the bearing, oil is drawn from a reservoir at the base to the thrust ball at the top and recirculated. Low Contact Area Feet for Vibration Control

The solid aluminum feet are engineered to minimize contact with the supporting surface, reducing the transfer of external vibrations to the turntable. This ensures the Gyro SE performs flawlessly, even on less-than-ideal surfaces.
