Designed and hand-built in the north of England, the Iota Alpha II combines Neat's distinctive compact design with impressive scale, bass depth, clarity and musical involvement.

Building on the success of the original Iota Alpha, the Neat Iota Alpha II has been designed to deliver a highly detailed, coherent and dynamic presentation while retaining the compact proportions that make the Iota range so versatile. At just 45cm tall, the Iota Alpha II can sit discreetly within a wide range of listening environments while creating a surprisingly large and immersive soundstage.
The Neat Iota Alpha II Speakers use an ingenious driver configuration to produce a genuine full-range presentation from their compact cabinet. An upward-firing mid/bass driver works alongside a downward-firing subwoofer, helping the Iota Alpha II deliver impressive bass weight, room-filling scale and a natural sense of depth without the need for a large loudspeaker enclosure.
A key feature of the Neat Iota Alpha II is its 50mm EMIT planar magnetic tweeter. This advanced high-frequency driver provides speed, openness and fine detail, helping the Iota Alpha II reproduce subtle musical information with clarity and precision. Vocals and instruments remain clearly defined while retaining the natural flow and coherence of the music.
The cleverly engineered driver arrangement is central to the performance of the Neat Iota Alpha II Speakers. The upward-firing mid/bass driver and downward-firing subwoofer work together to produce a full and immersive presentation, giving these compact speakers impressive bass weight and a sense of scale that extends well beyond their physical dimensions.
Inside the Neat Iota Alpha II, a hand-built crossover incorporates premium components and point-to-point wiring. The crossover has been carefully designed to maintain clarity, timing and coherence, allowing the individual drivers to work together as a unified loudspeaker. The result is a transparent and musical presentation with the engaging rhythmic character associated with Neat loudspeakers.
The Neat Iota Alpha II Speakers are built and tuned by ear in the north of England, reflecting Neat's focus on musical performance.
