Every pair of Quad Elegan 1 Speakers has been developed under the guidance of renowned acoustic designer Peter Comeau, whose loudspeaker designs have earned worldwide recognition for their natural and engaging sound.
At the heart of the speaker is a carefully engineered two-way design featuring a high-performance 165mm woven Kevlar mid/bass driver alongside a precision 25mm fabric dome tweeter. The Kevlar cone provides exceptional rigidity while remaining lightweight, allowing it to deliver fast, controlled bass and an incredibly transparent midrange with minimal distortion.
The tweeter is mounted within a carefully designed waveguide that optimises sound dispersion throughout the room.
