The REL T/9x RED Subwoofer is a front-firing active driver with a down-firing passive radiator, combining precision and power in its design. The active driver, boasting a 10-inch (250mm) long-throw FibreCarbon™ cone with an inverted Carbon Fibre center cap and steel chassis, ensures a robust and responsive performance. Accompanying this, the 10-inch (250mm) long-throw FibreAlloy™ cone passive radiator, with an inverted alloy center cap and steel chassis, contributes to the subwoofer's low-frequency extension of -6 dB at 27Hz.

Connectivity is made versatile with high-level Neutrik Speakon, one low-level RCA, and one LFE RCA input connectors. The subwoofer delivers a substantial power output of 300 watts (RMS) through its Class A/B amplifier, providing a balanced and dynamic audio experience. For added convenience, the REL T/9x RED Subwoofer is equipped with wireless capability, utilizing the REL Arrow system (required and sold separately) to eliminate the constraints of wired connections.

Ensuring the safety of the system, the subwoofer incorporates a fully electronic set safe protection system, guarding against potential issues such as D.C. faults and output shorts. The Mains Input Voltage supports 220-240 volts and 110-120 volts for specific markets, while the fuses (3.15 Amp semi-delay for 220 volts operation and 7 Amp semi-delay for 120 volts operation) further contribute to the reliability of the unit.

The dimensions of the subwoofer measure 14.5 x 13.4 x 15.5 inches (W x H x D), with an additional 1.75 inches in depth when using the Hi Level connector. Weighing in at 45.5 lbs. (20.6 kg) and 50.0 lbs. (22.65 kg), the subwoofer maintains a sturdy yet manageable presence. The Italian Racing Red Lacquer finish, applied with precision in seven coats, adds a touch of sophistication to its exterior. Supplied accessories include a mains lead and a 10-meter (33’6”) nominal Neutrik Speakon for versatile setup possibilities.
