The Ruark Talisman R Speakers represent the return of one of Ruark’s most iconic loudspeaker designs, combining over 40 years of British audio engineering experience with modern acoustic innovation. Originally introduced in 1990, the original Talisman helped establish Ruark as a brand renowned for creating high-performance speakers with exceptional sound quality and timeless design.
The new Ruark Talisman-R loudspeakers bring this celebrated model into a new generation, featuring advanced cabinet construction, upgraded driver technology and refined vibration control to deliver a natural, detailed and highly musical listening experience. The Ruark Talisman-R has been developed for music lovers who want a speaker that combines outstanding performance with elegant British styling, making it equally suited to dedicated listening rooms and modern living spaces.
At the heart of the Ruark Talisman R Speakers is a two-way bass reflex design featuring a 165mm long-throw treated fibre NS+ bass/mid driver and a 27mm silk dome tweeter. These carefully selected drivers work together through a precision crossover network using premium audio-grade components to provide excellent integration, low distortion and a smooth, balanced sound.
Ruark has focused heavily on enclosure design to ensure the Talisman-R delivers a cleaner and more transparent performance. The decoupled baffle system helps reduce unwanted vibration by isolating the drivers from the main cabinet, allowing music to be reproduced with greater accuracy and clarity.
The Ruark Talisman R Speakers feature internal bracing, acoustic damping materials and carefully controlled cabinet construction to minimise standing waves and resonance. This creates a low-colouration enclosure that allows the natural character of recordings to shine through.
Continuing the distinctive styling of the original Talisman, the Ruark Talisman-R features a slim profile and angled baffle design that looks as impressive as it sounds. The machined 10mm steel plinth adds stability while creating the distinctive floating appearance that makes these speakers stand out.
Supplied adjustable feet and carpet spikes allow the Ruark Talisman R Speakers to be positioned securely on a variety of flooring types. Their stable cabinet design ensures excellent performance whether used in a dedicated stereo system or as part of a premium home audio setup.
