The Cyrus 6XP amplifier is the entry level Integrated amplifier in the Cyrus range and is rated at 2 x 40W/8ohm. The Cyrus XP range of amplifiers is so called as they based on the circuitry of our top of the range Cyrus DACXP.
Cyrus 6XP amplifier features customised input naming and input sensitivity level setting (so the CD can play at the same volume as the tuner or iPod when you switch inputs mid music). The Cyrus 6XP amplifier also has twin speaker outputs for bi-wiring, and dual pre-amp outs for bi-amping.
Taking up to six line inputs, the Cyrus 6XP amplifier also has a zone 2 feature, which allows two listeners in the same home to enjoy different sources of music in different rooms. You could listen to the radio in a kitchen (zone 2) while the main system plays a CD (zone 1). This multi-source, multi-zone feature is designed for use with most iPod docks, thus making multi-room audio both low cost and very easy to install.
The Cyrus 6XP amplifier will also integrate with the AV Master 8.0 to provide a 5.1 channel system.
The Cyrus 6XP amplifier can be upgraded at the factory with the addition of a digital input card, which will enable you to play digital sources, including files on your PC, directly through your Cyrus amplifier. Alternatively is can be upgraded to full Cyrus 8XPd specification.
