With the phenomenal benefits of PMC's ATL (Advanced Transmission Line) technology, the PC fact.8 speakers produce the commanding power and scale that is capable of filling both medium and larger rooms with awe-inspiring dynamic sound. The PMC Fact.8 Loudspeakers have a compliment of twin fact bass drivers and ultra high resolution fact tweeter, which project an all encompassing, vivid sonic picture that can be experienced by all. The PMC Fact.8 speakers have cutting edge precision drivers that are seamlessly integrated with a highly sophisticated 24dB per octave crossover network and, in combination with the ultimately inert ATL cabinet, create an entirely natural and refined balance where vocals hang in space and are truly tangible.
Solid boundaries (i.e. walls, ceilings and floors) reflect sound and help to contain it within a room. They make a speaker sound louder the closer it is from them, especially in the low frequency (bass) region.
PMC fact.8 LF control compensates for room modes and enables an even bass response in difficult environments.
The PMC Fact 8 speakers have HF adjustment switching that can either subtly increase the high frequency output to compensate for softer-sounding source equipment or dull absorbent rooms (i.e. rooms with an abundance of soft furnishings, carpets etc.
Conversely, it can subtly decrease the high frequency output to compensate for bright-sounding source equipment or lively, highly reflective rooms with minimal furnishings, rooms with hard flooring or few soft absorbent materials.
