The Marantz Model 30 is a stereo analog amplifier that outputs 100 watts per channel into 8 ohm.
Using trickle down technology directly derived from Marantz's flagship PM-10S1 and using the same switching power supply and a Hypex NC500 switching amplifier to deliver superb sound quality.
The Marantz Model 30 preamp and power-amp stages have their own independent power supplies, giving the preamplifier, which gets stable power regardless of the demands from the power amp. The preamplifier has a dedicated toroidal transformer to this end.
The Model 30 phono input employs the Marantz Musical Premium Phono EQ technology and can be used with both moving magnet and moving coil cartridges with a two-stage amplification process.
