We have recently taken delivery of the new KEF R series, and it is already proving very popular with our customers.

Sitting above the KEF Q Series, the all new R Series comprises the R3 standmounts (£1299) and R5 (£1999), R7 (£2599) and R11 (£3999) floorstanders, as well as the R2c centre speaker (£849) and R8a Atmos speakers (£799) for those that want to a full R series surround set up.

As KEF puts it, the only thing to remain the same, over the last R Series range, is the name. With improvements made to the Uni-Q driver, bass drivers as well as borrowing the internal bracing system from the LS50 to limit vibrations, plus more!

We are proud to announce that we now have the flagship PMC Fenestria on demo in our Hull showroom, making us the only stockist in the north of England and Scotland. Of course the ideal place to demonstrate to these speakers is in your listening room, if this is an idea that appeals to you please contact us to discuss.

The impressive Fenestria features a newly designed cabinet that takes inspiration from the way skyscrapers are built to withstand earthquakes.

Standing at 1.7m-tall the cabinet's side panels are engineered to vibrate in opposition to the rest of the speaker assembly, cancelling out any vibrations introduced by the main cabinet and driver units.

A three-way speaker design, the fenestria features a 19.5mm soft-dome tweeter and a 7.5cm midrange unit, both of which are housed in an aluminium 'nest' that keeps them further acoustically isolated and decoupled from the rest of the cabinet.

Of course this wouldn't be a PMC speaker without transmission line tech and Laminair vent, used in the Twenty5 series, designed to improve the speakers' bass performance.

The articulation offered by these speakers has to be heard to be believed. Simply stunning.
