Pure Class-A Amplification with Luxman’s Signature Sound

At the heart of the Luxman L-100 Centennial Integrated Amplifier is a fully Class-A output stage engineered to operate entirely within its most linear region. Class-A amplification is widely respected among audiophiles for its ability to deliver exceptionally smooth tonal balance, natural midrange detail and effortless musical flow.

The amplifier delivers 20 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 40 watts into 4 ohms. LIFES 1.1 – Luxman’s Advanced Feedback Amplification Technology

The Luxman L-100 Centennial features the latest evolution of Luxman’s proprietary amplification architecture, LIFES 1.1 (Luxman Integrated Feedback Engine System). This advanced circuit design focuses on eliminating distortion while preserving the integrity of the original audio signal.

Unlike conventional negative feedback systems that can alter the musical waveform, LIFES 1.1 isolates and cancels only the distortion components detected in the signal path. Parallel differential detection circuitry further enhances the input stage, reducing distortion and improving clarity across the entire frequency range.

High-Precision LECUA1000 Volume Control

Volume adjustment is handled by Luxman’s newly developed LECUA1000 electronically controlled attenuator. This system offers 88 finely stepped volume increments, allowing extremely accurate adjustment while maintaining signal integrity.

By integrating the attenuator directly into the amplifier circuitry, signal paths are shortened and potential degradation is reduced. A high-grade discrete buffer circuit derived from Luxman’s flagship preamplifiers ensures strong drive capability and excellent channel balance at all listening levels.
