Spendor A7.2 Floorstanding Speakers

The Spendor A7.2 is the flagship of the A-Line Mark 2 range — the largest and most capable floorstander in the series, built for listeners who want Spendor's broadcast-honest sound with genuine scale and low-frequency extension. Its slim 180mm-wide cabinet still suits a normal living room, but inside is a substantially larger bass/mid driver and a completely reworked crossover, giving the A7.2 a fuller, more room-filling presentation than the smaller A2.2 or A4.2.

Like every Spendor speaker, the A7.2 is designed, engineered and built at the company's own facility in Sheffield. The redesigned crossover, now set at 2kHz, improves driver integration, phase coherence and stereo imaging over the original A7, while a new 27mm polyamide dome tweeter delivers crisp, detailed highs that stay composed at higher volumes. True to Spendor's BBC broadcast heritage, the tuning favours natural tonal balance and midrange honesty over an artificially forward sound.
