AVID Hi-Fi UK Amplifier Launch Event - Pre Amplifier

Avid Hi-Fi Event - Friday 14th and Saturday 15th of August AVID to unveil new electronics at Fanthorpes HiFi

We are thrilled to announce that we are the first UK dealers to beåÊshowcasing the AVID pre-amplifier and mono's atåÊour in store AVID event (14th and 15th August).

AVID Reference Pre Amplifier

Setting a new benchmark for the term 'Reference', the AVID Reference Pre-Amplifier is a fully balanced design with exceptionally low noise and distortion across the audio spectrum.

Employing extremely high-specification components, every attribute is of the highest order with the focus on sound quality. At no point, in the circuit is signal integrity compromised, using a bank of relays for every adjustment.

Inputs and outputs are both XLR and RCA, and whilst running fully balanced internally, the output is optionally balanced or unbalanced. Four cartridges can be simultaneously fitted, each with independent controls. Added to this are three line stages and a fixed level tape output. Four main outputs allow up to four mono-amplifiers to be powered in either balanced or single ended configuration.

No cost limits have been placed on the design with sound quality being paramount, hence the use of a 1KVA mains transformer and specially selected ALPS RK50 volume control.åÊEven the Pre-Amplifier has a machined, solid 17Kg Aluminium Capacitor Insulation Shield to eliminate cross talk toåÊvanishingly low levels.

The AVID Reference Pre-Amplifier will be at our exclusive UK AVID Amplifier launch event.
