Avid Event Saturday 22nd November
Once again we are teaming up with AVID, this time focussing on their entry level electronics.
The event will take a detailed look and listen at the Avid Ingenium and Diva II Turntables as well as the Pellar and Pulsus phono stages.
The designer of Avid, Conrad Mas, will be on hand to explain the differences between each turntable and phono stage.
Of course if you want to listen to another Avid product, just let us know and we'll book you in for a demo.
RSVP
Demonstrations will be held in store on Saturday 22nd of November at 11:00 am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm.
Please note that once demonstrations have begun they cannot be interrupted. If you have missed your appointment, another time will have to be arranged. This is to ensure that the demonstrations run as smoothly as possible.

Ortofon’s MC X Series represents a new wave in high-fidelity vinyl playback. Building on the solid foundation of the Quintet range, this series introduces a more refined, high-performance line of moving coil (MC) cartridges—all designed and assembled in Denmark.
While the models share core design elements—such as a honeycomb stainless-steel body, silver-plated pure copper coils, and a refined magnet system—the key differences lie in stylus shape, cantilever material, and sonic character. These factors have a profound effect on how the cartridge interacts with the grooves and conveys the music.
Let’s break down the differences between the MC X10, X20, X30, and X40 to help you choose the model that suits your setup and listening preferences.
