Fanthorpes HiFi - The Week Ahead 8th April - 13th April 2019

Hey everyone, we’ve got a great week to look forward to. We are heading down to the south west coast next week for a big speaker install, a fantastic high-end demo is booked in, plus we get to meet our new Cyrus Audio rep!

The idea is to give you an insight into our working week here at Fanthorpes HiFi. With what demonstrations we are doing in store and in customers’ homes, services we offer, as well as give you an insight into the distances we travel over a working week.

Monday 8th April

We start our week off with a monumental drive down to Plymouth. We are visiting the south west coast to install a pair of Martin Logan ESL11a speakers. Once the Martin Logans are positioned correctly and set up using the Anthem ARC technology, we are collecting a pair of Eggleston Works Andra 111 SE speakers in part exchange. A heavy pair of speakers, weighing in at 80kgs each, we’ll have to make sure we’ve had out Weetabix!

We also have a drop off on the way down to Plymouth, we are stopping off at Exeter to deliver a pair of PMC Twenty 26 speakers.

Tuesday 9th April

Our install team will set off on Tuesday from a local hotel and make the trip back up north to Hull.

Wednesday 10th April

We have an instore demonstration booked in for a midweek. This customer already owns a pair of PMC Twenty 26 and is looking to make the upgrade to PMC Fact 12 speakers. We will have the FACT 12 set up alongside the Innuos Zenith Statement, Chord DAVE DAC and Luxman L-509X. A fantastic demo indeed!

Wednesday afternoon we have a local install of the new Ruark R5 music system and a pair of Sennheiser HD630VB.

Thursday 11th April

We hit the road again on Thursday as we head on over to Manchester to install a Musical Fidelity M6SCD CD Player and collect a pair of PMC Twenty5 23 speakers in part exchange.

We are meeting our new Cyrus Audio rep too. We’ll make sure the we have a mug of the finest Yorkshire tea ready! It’s always great to see members of the industry pop in, it allows us to turn our focus to a particular brand serving as a nice refresher course and to possibly learn about any new products on the horizon.

Friday 12^th April

An instore demonstration is booked in for Friday afternoon. This customer already owns the Sugden A21 Signature amplifier and Musical Fidelity M6SCD and is looking for a new pair of speakers. He has expressed particular interest in the Quad Z2 speakers, which we will have set up and waiting alongside a few more options.

Saturday 13^th April
