Fanthorpes HiFi - Weekly Wrap Up 21st - 25th March 2022

Hey everyone, as always, we had another busy week as we review what we have been up to this week.

The idea is to give you an insight into our working week here at Fanthorpes HiFi. With what demonstrations we are doing in store and in customers’ homes, services we offer, as well as give you an insight into the distances we travel over a working week.

Tuesday 22^nd March

After a quieter Monday, with no deliveries or demonstrations booked in, we were back to it Tuesday. This time with two vans on the road!

First up for one van was a local install of an Audiolab Omnia to install. After that was completed, we headed down to Nottingham for two installs.

Firstly, was a delivery and install of a set of PMC Twenty5 23i speakers, once that install was complete we had another delivery in Nottingham, this time for a set of preowned Bowers & Wilkins 603 S2 speakers.

The second van headed down to Welwyn, Hertfordshire to deliver a set of Dali Epicon 2 speakers with matching stands along with some Chord Epic XLR and RCA interconnects. We also collected a set of B&W 606 and matching stands

Wednesday 23^rd March

Wednesday saw us head down to Norwich for a beefy looking install. This customer had purchased a Synthesis Roma 753 AC Amplifier, Lehmann Black Cube SE II Phono Stage, Chord Epic Speaker cable and interconnect as well as an Ortofon Quintet Black Cartridge that we fitted to the customers’ existing turntable.

In the store we also had a demonstration of a set of preowned Focal Clear headphones.

Thursday 24^th March

We took to the road again on Thursday, this time down to Tilehurst, Berkshire to deliver a preowned Audio Research Dsi200 Integrated Amplifier for a customer.

Friday 25^th March

To end the week, we had an instore demonstration booked in. This customer was looking to hear the difference between a Chord Hugo TT vs a Hugo TT2, as well as what the Chord M Scaler could do alongside the Hugo TT2. On top of this, the customer had also expressed an interest in a preowned CPA 5000 Preamplifier that we had part exchange, which we were more than happy to set up too. The rest of the system comprised of PMC Fact 12 Speakers, Chord Ultima 5 Power Amplifier,Innuos PhoenixNET switch and Innuos Zenith MK3 Streamer.

Cable wise, we used Chord Company Signature throughout. Plus, their new PowerHAUS M6 mains block.
