Fanthorpes HiFi - The Week Ahead 29th July - 3rd August 2019

Hey everyone, Summer has finally arrived! But that hasn’t stopped us racking up the miles up and down the country. We’ve been as busy as ever and next week is no exception, with trips to the south coast, London and Birmingham just to name a few of our destinations on the cards!

The idea is to give you an insight into our working week here at Fanthorpes HiFi. With what demonstrations we are doing in store and in customers’ homes, services we offer, as well as give you an insight into the distances we travel over a working week.

Monday 29th July

We start the week off with a trip across the M62. We are heading over to Liverpool to install a pair of Monitor Audio PL300 II Speakers. These floorstanders offer a clean, immensely detailed sound. Capable of loads of controlled bass, with huge scale and volume capability.

Tuesday 30th July

We have an epic day Tuesday. Three installs and an early start. Firstly, we are heading down to Southampton deliver an Anthem AVM60 Processor, four Cyrus Stereo 200 and three Cyrus Mono X300 Signature power amplifiers for this customers cinema room.

After the first job is done and dusted, we are heading up to Salisbury to install a Chord Hugo TT2 DAC and Innuos Zen MK3 Streamer. Once the new electronics are all installed, we are collecting a Chord Hugo in part exchange.

The last job of the day sees us head to south west London to install a pair of preowned Audionet Amp II mono power amplifiers.

Wednesday 31st July

Another day, another install is on the cards Wednesday. We are heading down to Lincoln to install a pair of Martin Logan Electromotion ESL X speakers. This customer popped up for a demonstration a few weeks ago, after listening to a few different speakers, opted for the Martin Logans. Once his new speakers are set up, we will also be collecting a pair of Sonus Faber Electa Amator II with matching stands.

Thursday 1st August

We have a trip to the Midlands booked in Thursday for a very exciting install. We are heading to Birmingham to install our first pair of PMC Fact 8 signature speakers. This customer is upgrading from a pair of Twenty5 23 speakers. An upgrade we’re sure he will love.

The Fact 8 signature builds on the balanced, engaging sound and life-like imaging of the original fact speakers. It takes to the next level the fact speakers’ ready ability to accurately reproduce all genres of music via its twin PMC bass drivers, ATL™ and soft-dome treble, a collaboration with precision Norwegian acoustic specialists SEAS. We have another PMC install in Birmingham on Thursday too. This customer is upgrading from the Monitor Audio Gold 50 standmounts to the PMC Twenty5 21 speakers

Friday 2nd August

We have a local install on the outskirts of Hull to install a pair of Kef R3 Standmounts. The R3 offers exceptional insight and resolution, with a balanced and entertaining sound. As you would come to expect by KEF the R3 are excellently built and finished.

Saturday 3rd August

To finish the week off we have an instore demonstration booked in. This customer is looking to listen to several CD Players up to £2000, with that in mind we will have Roksan Caspian M2 CD Player and Musical Fidelity M6SCD.
