Introducing the Pro-Ject X1 B, the latest version of the iconic record player that's been a part of Pro-Ject's range for over 25 years. The X1 B is a cutting-edge turntable that brings high-end analogue technologies within reach of more people with its affordable price-point. It now features a fully balanced mini XLR output, offering a symmetrical connection to the new Phono Box S3 B or Phono Box DS3 B.

The X1 B is framed by an oversized, heavyweight MDF structure, providing a solid foundation for the turntable. Inside, the sophisticated DC/AC generator board combined with the convenient speed control board delivers clean and stable power to the quiet-running motor. The motor is further improved by being decoupled from the main plinth using a new motor suspension system, enhancing its performance.

The motor drives a purpose-made, heavy, non-resonant Acryl platter via a sub-platter drive system and premium grade main bearing, ensuring liquid smooth rotation. The X1 B comes with a super-stiff, perfectly tempered Carbon/Alu sandwich construction tonearm, inspired by the superior The Classic turntable. The tonearm is light and stiff, with improved resistance to external interference, and is finished as a one-piece with no resonance-inducing headshell. It can also be adjusted for accurate azimuth and VTA settings, allowing advanced analogue audiophiles to fine-tune their sound. The tonearm is supplied with a TPE-damped counterweight, reducing cartridge/tonearm resonances.

The X1 B is packaged to suit anyone who cares about the quality of their vinyl sound. It comes standard with a brand new Pro-Ject Pick-IT S2 MM cartridge, manufactured by Ortofon and voiced by Pro-Ject's design team. The package also includes a pair of Connect-IT E RCA cables, optimized for turntable use, and the turntable is positioned on three height-adjustable, decoupling Alu/TPE sandwich feet for improved isolation. An acrylic dust cover is included for safety when the turntable is not in use.
