Fanthorpes HiFi - Weekly Wrap Up 7th - 11th March 2022

Hey everyone, as always, we had another busy week as we review what we have been up to this week.

The idea is to give you an insight into our working week here at Fanthorpes HiFi. With what demonstrations we are doing in store and in customers’ homes, services we offer, as well as give you an insight into the distances we travel over a working week.

Monday 7th March

We started the week off with a demo of the AVM Inspiration CS 2.2 Compact Streaming CD Receiver. The customer was looking for a 'one box solution' in and around the £4000 mark, and the AVM fit the bill. The AVM was run alongside a set of Martin Logan 35XTi standmount speakers.

Tuesday 8th March

On Tuesday we had another in store demo, this time of a Bluesound Node. The customer was looking to integrate a streaming solution into his existing system at an affordable price, and the Bluesound Node is the 'go to' streamer in our store for anyone looking to get up and running. The rest of the system was a Musical Fidelity M6si and PMC Twenty5 22i Speakers.

Our installer was also on the road on, heading down to Reading to deliver and set up a preowned Arcam AV860 Processor. Once the Processor was set up, we had one more install in Reading before heading back up north, this time of a set of PMC IB2SE Speakers and a Luxman C-700u pre amplifier with matching M-700u power amplifier.

On the way down to Ready, we also stopped off in Derby to drop off a Chord Electronics Mojo2 Headphone DAC and Poly Streamer bundle.

Wednesday 9th March

Another in store demo was booked in for Wednesday. This customer wanted to listen to the difference between the Innuos Zen Mini MK3 and Innuos Zen. We had both units set up side by side alongside the Chord Qutest DAC, Exposure 2510 Integrated Amplifier and Klipsch RP-600M Speakers.

Friday 11th March

For the last day of the week we had a couple of local installs, first up is a delivery and install of a set of KEF R5 Speakers and collection of a set of B&W 603s2 speakers we have taken in part exchange.

Lastly, we are dropping of the AVM Inspiration CS 2.2 for the customer who demo'd it on Monday, so he can listen to it in his system.
