The ProJect X2 B Turntable is available for demonstration in our Hull store by request.

The X2 B turntable boasts a sturdy, CNC-machined MDF chassis with three vibration-absorbing feet that effectively reduce unwanted resonances. It features a sophisticated DC/AC generator board and a speed control board for automatic switching between 33 and 45 RPM, as well as 78 RPM support. The silent motor system is powered by clean and stable power, and the motor is carefully balanced and suspended on a precision-tuned TPE belt to minimize vibrations.

The non-resonant Acryl platter is driven by a sub-platter drive system and a premium-grade main bearing for smooth rotation. The X2 B also comes with a one-piece Carbon/Alu tonearm with an integrated headshell, which is adjustable for accurate azimuth and VTA settings.

Equipped with an Ortofon Quintet Red moving coil cartridge pre-installed, the X2 B is capable of benefiting from Pro-Ject’s True Balanced Connections concept. You can connect it to a balanced-capable phono stage using the mini-XLR output on the back of the turntable to achieve increased dynamics, less noise, and improved signal-to-noise ratios.

The X2 B is designed for audio excellence, with no unnecessary add-ons that negatively impact the sound quality. It delivers deep, detailed lows, crisp high frequencies, and a well-presented midrange. Moreover, it comes in four stunning finishes: a premium walnut wood veneer, a luxurious black 8-layer high gloss paint, or black or white eight-layer hand-polished satin paint. With its advanced manufacturing and high-quality components, the X2 B is not just an exceptional turntable but also a beautiful piece of engineering that can complement any home decor.
